Job Description
- Preparation of bid documents, including bills of quantities with sales and/or the client. Undertaking cost analysis.
- Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Tracking changes to the design and/or construction work, and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
- Preparing and maintaining project budgets, including labor, materials. equipment and services.
- Perform cost analysis, estimating the expected cost for the project.
- Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine reasons for any discrepancies.
- Monitor project costs and provide cost control recommendations.
- Validate cost data from various sources for consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement and contract management to manage costs and negotiate contracts
