About the Role
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality in compliance with engineering specifications, as well as controlling manufacturing process parameters that directly impact product quality. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence, resolving customer issues, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the resolution of customer complaints related to manufacturing processes through proper execution of the 8D methodology, including 24‑hour containment actions and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of SPC, including calculation, reporting, and tracking of CPK indices.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams to improve processes and increase CPK levels.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability for process monitoring and decision‑making.
