R & D Engineer

Targets the optimization of products with respect to their manufacturability (design-to-manufacture, design-to-cost ).Analyzes alternative options of product design in order to support e.g., Make-or-buy decisions.
Contributes to product design and/or to product ramp-up and drive continuous improvement topics.
Analyzes product specifications, clarifies manufacturing aspects of products with Product Design, Product Marketing and Industrial Engineering team.
Calculates product modification or re-engineering, plan equipment layout, tools and IT programs needed,.
May lead pilot manufacturing sequences.
