Overview

We are seeking a Reactor Physicist to be part of our team in the Fuel and Physics department supporting the design of new nuclear power plants and the operation, refurbishment, or waste management and decommissioning of existing CANDU nuclear power plants. The Intermediate Reactor Physicist will work under senior staff to perform technical analysis using up-to-date reactor physics codes, such as WIMS, DRAGON, RFSP and MCNP. Your role

Perform and/or supervise the following calculations: Finite-reactor-core calculations, Kinetics calculations, Advanced-fuel-cycle calculations, Monte Carlo calculations. Prepare inputs, run reactor physics computer codes. Develop, adapt and modify FORTRAN computer codes as required for specific applications (e.g., to implement new methods or perform new types of calculations).
