Job Description
Summary The Pacific West Region includes parks in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, parts of Arizona and Montana, and the territories of Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands. The Regional Director oversees 65 parks spanning 13 million acres and manages park superintendents, including three Senior Executive Service Superintendents, deputy regional directors, associate regional directors, and full-time, seasonal employees, and volunteers in a variety of disciplines. Responsibilities The Regional Director is responsible for the oversight of parks, strategy formulation, advocacy for parks, allocation and management of fiscal and human resources, and the development and interpretation of policies.
