The Same Day Surgery at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital provides care to a high volume, same day home adult surgical population. The multidisciplinary team functions within a complex, fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Same Day Surgery Unit supports a high volume of same day home patients and works with a diverse adult population. The Registered Nurse will work within a complex interdisciplinary team and support and facilitate change.
Schedule Work HoursDays, evenings
This position is temporary until July 2027
Qualifications
1. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
2. Current BCLS certification
3. Physical Assessment Course
4. Recent (3 years) experience with adult surgical skills
5. Recent experience in assessing adult heart and lung sounds
