Registered Nurse - Pacemaker and ICD Surgery OR

Your Opportunity:

This Registered Nurse position is within the Pacemaker/ICD Surgery OR setting in the CK Hui Heart Centre at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. This role focuses on the care of cardiac patients presenting for cardiac device implants/revisions, and EP procedures. Duties include but are not limited to; peri-operative nursing care within the Pacemaker/ICD OR setting ( scrub and circulation duties); completion of cardiac device assessments/programming; monitoring, evaluating, and documenting patient condition and effectiveness of medical interventions; procedural sedation and medication administration; addressing patient concerns; and presenting clinical findings to physicians. The Pacemaker/ICD Surgery OR is part of a collective of Outpatient Clinics.
