As a Better Days Rehab Physiotherapist, your week could include:
- Completing community-based physiotherapy assessments for clients referred through ACC contracts.
- Designing practical, goal-focused rehabilitation programmes that support independence, participation and better everyday function.
- Working across HCS, Training for Independence and other ACC community rehabilitation pathways.
- Supporting clients with mobility, strength, balance, falls prevention, fatigue, pain, confidence, functional movement and return to meaningful daily activities.
- Working closely with our Christchurch OT, and the wider interdisciplinary team (eg SLTs, dietitians, Social workers) to provide joined-up rehabilitation.
- Communicating with clients, whānau, ACC, support providers and other stakeholders.
