About the role

Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending / national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed.


We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our Catering team in North Ceredigion Schools or Care Homes as required. You will be expected to manage the school kitchen on a day-to day basis according to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council.


The role includes:

  • General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surround

  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times

  • Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
