REMOTE Security Engineer (Qualys / Vulnerability Management)

Job Description
This individual will support the organization’s vulnerability management and compliance initiatives, with a heavy focus on leveraging Qualys for security scanning and reporting. They will be responsible for executing scans, analyzing outputs, and identifying vulnerabilities across environments tied to critical project work, including government-related efforts. The engineer will not perform remediation directly, but will instead document findings, track issues through ServiceNow, and coordinate with downstream teams responsible for resolution. Additionally, this resource will help improve and optimize the existing Qualys environment by identifying gaps, supporting tool configuration updates, and enhancing reporting and dashboarding for improved visibility.
