Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement models and simulations for soft robotic gripper designs
  • Design and optimise soft gripper structures for manufacturing use cases
  • Fabricate and prototype soft robotic systems using appropriate materials and techniques
  • Develop and implement control strategies for soft actuators and grippers
  • Plan and conduct experiments, testing, and performance evaluations
  • Analyse experimental data and prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to project milestones
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Relevant academic training or project experience in mechanical design, robotics or mechatronics systems, solid mechanics or soft materials
