Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform modeling and machining of ultrahigh vacuum parts for materials science applications and setting up electronic hardware.
Conduct experiments with Ba+ ion beam implanted in solid xenon and argon.
Operate ion beam and diode or OPO laser, deposit samples, take spectra of deposited samples.
Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications
B.S. Degree in physics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ion beams, lasers, and laser spectroscopy.
