Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible to manages staff, budgets, and activities in one of several Resource exploration-related areas, including but not limited to Operations Support, Exploration, Drilling Engineering, and Reservoir Modeling. Each position is responsible for coordination of personnel and project management with other management and technical staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversees Resource team including geologists, geochemists, engineers, and support staff. This includes professional development, performance reviews, travel, etc.

  • Manages exploration, drilling, reservoir modeling, and/or Operations projects, ensuring that they achieve schedule and budget goals

  • Manages Resource staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
