Risk and Delivery Assurance Officer

Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Risk and Delivery Assurance Team, working at the heart of the organisation to continuously develop and improve KCCs risk management framework, ensuring it remains fit for purpose and an integral part of the councils governance and decision-making arrangements in a challenging environment.

The role will involve working closely with services and senior managers across directorates, providing advice, support, guidance and quality assurance in matters relating to risk management from strategic, operational and change perspectives. You will be a key advisor and critical friend, contributing to assurance reviews of significant activities (including key projects), providing constructive, valued feedback and highlighting areas that present risk to successful delivery.
