Safety and Environment Engineer (Industrial Specialty)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for risk identification, hazards, and control of all areas in the company.
• Communicate to the appropriate person about situations that may endanger product quality, production and / or safety in the work area and environmental issues.
• Performs investigation of accidents and incidents, notifies, and follows up on prevention and occurrence activities within established time frames.
• Responsible for performing safety and hygiene tours covering all the different areas to detect and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
• Elaboration of the degree of risk of machinery and equipment and follow up of corrections.
• Elaboration and compliance in time of annual list with studies, monitoring and governmental procedures.
• Elaboration of orders and follow-up of work orders to close them before their expiration date.
