- Operate remote-controlled robots to clean biofouling such as oysters, seaweed, and barnacles from the hulls of ocean-going ships at outdoor docks.
- Carry out these duties as part of a team, ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance of vessels.
- Ensure that the robots are functioning properly by conducting pre-operation checks and routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of completed operations and report any issues with the cleaning process or equipment to the supervisor.
- Training is provided to equip employees with the skills needed for this simple yet crucial role.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a sailor is required.
- Ability to swim is essential for safety purposes.
