Job Description

Job Title: Facilities Assistant 
Location: Waltham Forest
Salary: £110–£150 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Start Date: February Half Term Ongoing

Protocol Education is offering an exciting opportunity for School Facilities Assistant to work in school. The main duties will be:


  • Supports the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the site by carrying out routine maintenance
  • Compliance checks, cleaning support, security duties, and general caretaking tasks.
  • The role ensures that the building, grounds, and learning spaces are clean, safe, and well‑maintained, providing a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Working as part of the facilities team, the postholder responds to day‑to‑day issues, assists with room setups and events, and helps maintain statutory compliance across the site.
