Hauptaufgaben

• Conducts comprehensive mechanical and structural inspections on multi-fuel combat vehicles, heavy wheeled vehicles, trailers, and specialized systems (such as FRS, ROWPS, and air conditioning units) before, during, and after repair or modification.
• Diagnoses complex electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and mechanical defects, and utilizes technical manuals and systems like GCSS-Army, MSD, and LDSC Publications to identify and list required spare parts.
• Conducts daily repair shop visits to assist maintenance personnel, estimates man-hours and material costs, determines whether equipment is economically repairable, and initiates damage reports when necessary.
