Screed/ Utility Operator, Highway Construction Lethbridge

Position Overview

Ledcor is looking for a safety-focused Screed Operator with 3+ years of experience in highway construction to join our agile crew in Alberta. This role involves operating the screed both manually and with automatic controls, managing tonnage, maintaining equipment, collaborating with crew, and upholding Health & Safety programs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate the screed manually and with automatic controls to deliver high-quality work.
• Safely manage screed operations, including tonnage control and regular equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with other crew members and operators to ensure smooth, effective paving operations.
• Uphold Ledcor’s Health & Safety programs and procedures at all times.
• Set angle and depth of the screed, verify depth specifications, and estimate asphalt quantities needed.
• Ensure even distribution of asphalt material across the road surface.
