Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has immediate opportunity for a Section Manager Process Control at our Burns Harbor, Indiana operation. The Section Manager Process Control is part of the Maintenance, Engineering, and Utilities Division and is responsible for managing, leading, and directing a team of process control engineers and support contractors in a designated area across a 24-hour operation. This involves working directly with a large variety of computer systems responsible for steel processing models, mill event tracking, environmental compliance, quality, and production data collection.Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Maintenance and problem-solving of all aspects of mill process automation systems. Modifications to automation systems to adapt to new inputs, or to implement new ideas for continuous improvement to the manufacturing process.
