Department Overview
The security team’s core mission is to maintain a strong operational cybersecurity readiness for Nødnett, Norway’s nationwide digital communications network for emergency and preparedness services. The team protects Nødnett by detecting and handling threats and vulnerabilities early, using specialized expertise, clear procedures, disciplined documentation, repeatable working methods, and regular training and exercises. We work closely with operational environments both within and outside Nødnett, including an external SOC provider.
