Senior Accounting Professionals

Under the direction of the Director of Children and Families, the Senior Policy Analyst will take a lead in overseeing policy development and research including planning and implementing policies and programs, provide strategic and policy advice and solutions. The Senior Policy Analyst will also manage and implement various projects and initiatives by leading proposal development, implementation, and evaluations.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Applies comprehensive knowledge of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) and First Nations Family Advocate Office (FNFAO) mandate and objectives in order to develop policy options and alternatives that are aligned with the AMC‑FNFAO goals;

Lead, coordinate and participate in project and policy development for the FNFAO including guiding and overseeing policy and research, communications, legal services and the restoration of First Nations jurisdiction over children and family’s initiatives;
