Senior Associate Lawyer, Insurance Coverage - Western Canada

Overview

Clyde & Co Canada has an opening for a senior associate lawyer in Western Canada (Vancouver, Calgary or Winnipeg) with experience in insurance coverage and monitoring. The candidate may also plead before the courts on certain coverage matters, if desired, and will provide coverage advice to insurers across a broad spectrum of policies such as CGL, wrap‑up, professional indemnity, cyber product liability, recall, D&O, crime and others. This position can be in hybrid work mode or fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze coverage under various policies to advise insurer clients.
• Undertake coverage investigations and conduct coverage disputes.
• Represent London and North American‑based insurer clients in the management of coverage matters in Canada.
• Act as monitoring counsel in matters where defence counsel has been retained but coverage remains a critical component for consideration.
