Senior Business Process Reengineer

The Department of Education is seeking a Senior Business Process Reengineer to support the Office of Educational Supports in enhancing and maintaining the Consolidated Application within the NexSys platform. This application is critical for distributing federal formula grants to Local Education Agencies. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between the Office of Educational Supports, regional field services consultants and managers, internal cross-office teams (including the Office of Systems, Evaluation, and Technology), the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with proven leadership experience in cross-functional environments.
