Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description

• Lead design engineer on a range of projects appropriate to your level of experience;

• Preparation of civil engineering designs;

• Leading the production of drawings and reports;

• Working with and guiding technicians and junior engineering staff;

• Attending meetings with design teams, contractors, and clients.

• Collaborating with architects and other disciplines in the design team;

• Leading the project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines;

• Attending site to carry out inspections.

Requirements

• A third level qualification (Level 8 Degree or higher) in Civil Engineering;

• Chartered or ambitions to become Chartered with Engineers Ireland;

• 8-10 years’ experience working in an Engineering Consultancy;

• Good management and organisational skills;

• Good technical capability and a proactive approach to solving problems;
