Senior Customs Entry Clerk

In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of customs entries across all modes of transport, ensuring full compliance with SARS Customs requirements while delivering a high standard of service. Duties: Capture and process import and export customs entries. Handle customs entries for airfreight, seafreight, roadfreight, and breakbulk shipments. Perform accurate tariff determinations and commodity classifications. Ensure all customs documentation complies with SARS Customs regulations. Verify supporting documentation prior to customs submission. Resolve customs queries, stops, and amendments efficiently. Liaise with internal departments and customs officials where required. Ensure all entries are processed within agreed turnaround times. Keep up to date with customs legislation, tariff amendments, and industry changes.
