Senior Data Governance Practitioner

Position Overview

My client is seeking a Senior Data Governance Practitioner to support the design and implementation of enterprise data governance frameworks, operating models, policies, and best practices. The role involves working closely with DG offices, IT, data, risk, and compliance teams to drive governance adoption, improve data management maturity, and support end-to-end data lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Advising on data classification, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, and data literacy initiatives
• Supporting business stakeholders in solving data-related challenges through a governance-led approach

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data governance consulting and setting up Data Governance offices
• Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or MDM programmes
