On behalf of our public‑sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on a part‑time basis.
Responsibilities
Stream 1 — Platform Support & Maintenance (~50% of effort)
- Monitor overall platform health and proactively identify issues
- Triage and resolve data pipeline failures
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and deploy controlled fixes
- Maintain operational documentation, including runbooks, defect logs, and architecture guides
- Validate data integrity and accuracy across systems
- Communicate issues, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders
Stream 2 — Platform Development & Enhancement (~50%+ of effort)
- Onboard new datasets from operational source systems
- Transition reporting to a modernized platform in alignment with upcoming timelines
