This is a fantastic opportunity for a block cave specialist to join a premier underground operation, based in the vibrant and sunny community of Kamloops, British Columbia. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will report to the Technical Services Superintendent and play a critical role in supporting underground cave operations at the New Afton Mine, one of Coeur Mining’s key North American assets.

This role is central to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a complex underground block cave mine. The successful candidate will lead geotechnical risk management activities, support mine planning through data-driven insights, and provide hands‑on leadership in underground rehabilitation and ground support programs.
