Full time hours on a temporary basis
About the Role:
Lead health & safety specialist for all matters relating to the highway service, ensuring all measures are considered and actions undertaken to manage risks arising from the service’s activities.Resource manage staff to ensure compliance with health & safety procedures while promoting a positive health & safety culture.
Liaise with other StreetCare services to ensure consistency of health and safety practices across the division and provide additional resources when necessary.
Act as a competent person as required by regulation 7 of the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
Engage at all levels to lead on the development of service policy and procedures, set priorities, support implementation, monitor health & safety performance, and intervene where necessary to ensure statut...
