Senior Land Use Planner - mississauga

Role Overview

Our Toronto office is recruiting an experienced Senior Land Use Planner in the Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law Group within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. This role supports a busy group of lawyers focused on municipal and planning law, as well as lawyers in the Real Estate Group.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development application preparation and submission under the Planning Act.
• Conducting research and technical analysis of land use planning policies and regulations.
• Researching and writing planning reports and opinions.
• Attending uncontested committee of adjustment hearings.
• Assisting with preparation for hearings before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
• Liaising with clients in public and private sectors.
