Senior Library Assistant (Part-time, Term-time Only)

About the roleJoin the Bodleian Law Library and help deliver an outstanding evening service for students, researchers and visitors. You will supervise a small evening team, provide welcoming front-line reader support, oversee the enquiry desk and library closing procedures, assist readers with library resources and IT, and help maintain a safe, efficient and customer-focused environment. You will also contribute to staff training and ensure library procedures and service standards are consistently followed. This is a permanent, part-time, term-time-only post, working 9 hours per week (during Michaelmas, Hilary, and Trinity Terms, Bank holidays). The working pattern is Monday to Wednesday, 19:00–22:00. As this role requires you to work during your contracted working period, annual leave cannot be taken during this time, including on bank holidays.
