Job Description
Our Client, a Biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Senior Manager for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities:
+ Develop category strategies to deliver value by achieving cost savings and improving quality and service levels by identifying opportunity areas such as standardization and supplier consolidation
+ Oversee all spend activity and purchase requests for assigned category areas and determine proper action plan for all purchases that meet the procurement involvement threshold
+ Provide category subject matter expertise to the associated business group and Procurement functions
+ Support Commercial category strategies with spend analytics, supplier benchmarking, and RFP execution support
+ Coordinate Commercial supplier communications, data gathering, and performance tracking
