Senior Oracle Database Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Oracle Database Engineer to join a leading financial services firm. You will manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle 12c/19c databases in a Linux environment, ensuring high availability and performance. The role covers database administration, tuning, backups, upgrades, and troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering reliable and efficient database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and optimize Oracle databases (12c/19c).
• Implement high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard).
• Monitor database performance and tune SQL, memory, and storage.
• Perform backups, restores, upgrades, and patching.
• Troubleshoot issues with root cause analysis and provide solutions.
• Support audits and disaster recovery exercises, maintaining proper documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Oracle 12c/19c on Linux.
