Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Sales Engineer role based in Malaysia. The Senior Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage key customer accounts, and drive sales growth for Weidmüller’s industrial connectivity, automation, and digitalization solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting customer visits, understanding technical and commercial requirements, preparing proposals, and delivering product presentations and demonstrations. The role involves collaborating with internal technical, product, and marketing teams to design solutions, support project execution, and respond to tenders and RFQs. The Senior Sales Engineer will also monitor market trends and competitors, maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records, and participate in industry events, trainings, and product launches.
