Our team improves the Linux kernel and promotes the adoption of Linux at Oracle and in the industry in general.
We distribute the upstream UEK kernel, a Linux OS that combines performance with enterprise stability.
Oracle has been an active contributor to Linux since ****, shipping the first-ever commercial database on Linux and contributing multiple feature improvements.
Our core focus is developing open-source products and improving the stability and performance of the OS.
