Optus is an Australian telecommunications company, delivering more than 11 million services to our customers every day across mobile, broadband and digital solutions.
We are on the lookout for experienced Cloud and CaaS Senior Technical Specialist to help maintain the performance and availability of our Network and ensuring service reliability. This includes providing hands-on operational support as well as technical governance of suppliers across change, incident, and problem management.
The role operates within a 24x7 rotating roster as part of the Tier 2 support team in our Optus Network Operations Centre in Sydney.
In addition to resolving technical issues, the Senior Technical Specialist is expected to deliver support, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with managed service partners, equipment vendors, and internal engineering teams to support network strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
