The Department of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary has an opening for a Sessional Instructor for the following course in Winter 2027 (January 1, 2027 - April 30, 2027).

Course Information

ENEL 327 - Signal and Transforms

Continuous-time systems. Impulse response and convolution. Fourier series and Fourier transform. Basics of discrete time signals. Sampling theory. Discrete convolution. Difference equations and the Z-transform. Discrete-time Fourier representations.

Schedule

Lecture: TR 11:00 am - 12:15 pm
Tutorial: Thursday 8:00 am - 9:15 am

Qualifications

  • Earned at least a master's degree in electrical, computer or software engineering.
  • Demonstrated background in the subject matter related to this course.
