Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To ensure the production targets are achieved safely through effective management of people.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential.
- 3 - 5 Years' experience as a Production Shift Supervisor is essential (External) or
- At least 5 years' experience as a Production Miner with clean record is essential (Internal)
- Shift Supervisor certificate is essential.
- Basic computer literacy is essential.
- Valid medical certificate or medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate is essential.
COMPETENCIES:
- Demonstrating knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in the workplace is essential.
- Demonstrating a basic understanding of the causes of Falls of Ground (FOG) is essential.
