Job Description

Shipping Assistant/Laborer 
Location: Edmonton, Alberta 
Job Overview and Responsibilities:

Support function for Technical Services Department.

Primary responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):
Ability to use computers, shipping apps and Microsoft 365. 

Prepare and verify the shipping forms and way bills for all shipments of the day.

Professionally interact face-to-face, over phone or by email with internal and external stakeholders. 

Perform daily workload as prioritized by supervisor to accommodate daily rushes.

Cleaning and preparing cylinders (sample vessels) to collect oil & gas samples.

Perform cleaning of cylinders (oil samples by solvent recirculation, gas, LPG by steam and dry air) followed by evacuation and preparation for re-use
