**Shipping and Receiving Associate**
**Job Description**
+ Support shipping operations by palletizing steel products and preparing loads
+ Ensure materials move efficiently onto trucks and out of the facility
+ Perform hands-on work with metal products and material-handling equipment
+ Assist with general labor tasks to keep shipping and receiving running smoothly
**Responsibilities**
+ Palletize steel and metal products safely and securely for shipment
+ Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
+ Stage, organize, and move materials to and from dock areas
+ Build and prepare loads to meet shipping requirements and deadlines
+ Wrap, band, and label pallets as needed
+ Perform heavy lifting and manual material handling safely
+ Work both indoors and outdoors as needed
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in shipping and receiving
+ Forklift operation skills
+ Ability to use a pallet jack
