Job Description
Lead and supervise a crew of erection workers to ensure efficient workflow and task completion on-site.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and erection drawings to accurately guide the installation of structural components.
- Oversee the safe operation of lifting equipment such as cranes and hoists, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
- Supervise daily structural steel erection activities and coordinate installation of columns, beams, trusses, bracings, staircases, handrails, and miscellaneous steel works.
- Allocate work to erectors, riggers, welders, and helpers.
- Monitor site productivity and ensure timely completion of activities.
