Responsibilities
- Ensure sling making is done as per plan and specifications.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, preventing delays and managing issues.
- Conduct necessary training of team members.
- Keep management updated on sling manufacturing matters.
- Propose methods and resource requirements to enhance sling making process.
- Prepare waybills, arrange transport to barge or vessel upon completion.
- Arrange proper storage and preservation of all slings.
- Receive slings after offshore completion and perform condition check of wire rope, maintaining records.
- Inspect slings regularly, clean before and after use, and arrange for proper storage.
- Ensure all work meets HSE standards and approved procedures.
- Secondary School Certificate with a discipline‑specific technical qualification, or equivalent.
