Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Service
Perform casework services in a timely manner with individual students and/or their families to evaluate and resolve personal, social, or emotional maladjustments related to their educational and social progress Collaborate with campus staff and other school district personnel in determining and implementing strategies, both individual and small group, which promote student learning including drop-out prevention initiatives, truancy prevention supports behavior interventions, and other campus requested supports Make home visits upon request and/or as appropriate, based on collaboration with campus/district staff and in accordance with department guidelines Provide staff consultation on behavioral-emotional-environmental issues affecting student participation in the learning process Intervene in problem situations to facilitate strategies to address discipline...
