**As a Software Engineer III** on the Global Integrated Fulfillment (GIF) team at Walmart, you will design and build scalable backend services that power critical in-store fulfillment workflows such as picking, storage, audit, and dispense. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, drive high-level design, and deliver reliable, high-performing applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to ramp up quickly on complex domains, and hands-on experience building distributed systems at scale. You will also help strengthen operational excellence by resolving production issues, driving root-cause fixes, and improving system observability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
