Soil Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Soil Scientist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Soil Scientist, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing and studying the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil in order to improve land management practices and increase crop yields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations to collect soil samples and analyze their composition.
- Use various laboratory techniques to determine the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil.
- Interpret data and prepare reports on soil characteristics and potential impact on crop production.
- Develop recommendations for improving soil quality, erosion control, and nutrient management.
- Work closely with farmers, landowners and government agencies to provide guidance on sustainable land management practices.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in soil science research and technology.
