Job Description
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Solder Assembler in Oldsmar, FL for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role is highly hands-on and focused on precision soldering, rework, and inspection of complex circuit boards in a controlled manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with SMT and through-hole soldering
- Experience removing, repairing, and replacing components (including QFNs, BGAs, LGAs)
- Experience using rework equipment (hot air, hot plates, etc.)
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and BOMs
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot solder defects and perform rework
