**Responsibilities and authority**
- Responsible to conceptualize & Design, at an intermediate level of complexity, new assembly equipment (Manual, semi-Auto & Automatic equipment).
- Acts as lead on mechanical designs on Projects.
- Responsible to deliver 2D & 3D packages for new equipment
- Works closely with all product engineering (Connectors, Cables, E-Mobility, Headers) to develop in-house processes and / or external resources to ensure that the design is manufacturable at lowest cost.
- Responsible for BOM creation & delivery, along with hard quotes from suppliers.
- Responsible for supporting design reviews (all phases) along with Mfg Engineer & Project Managers.
- To assure designs captures & assure all PFMEA requirements are meet.
- Responsible to provide & incorporating lessons learned of manufacturing issues, along with project management of new product launch.
