Job Description
- Works with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, and quality engineers to drive Optical specific product development
- Support design of prototypes and manufacturing of optical and atomic emission and atomic absorption instrumentation
- Design and develop optical systems for spectroscopic instruments, including monochromatic and interferometer-based systems.
- Recognizes cost and schedule implications on projects. Able to meet critical program schedules and technical objectives
- Drives technical solutions based on standard or accepted technical practices
- Work with R&D as a team to implement product specifications focusing on Optics. Identifies issues and areas for improvement with existing technical processes, either independently or through cross-functional teams.
