About the Position

Under the direction of the Administrator, the Staff Education Coordinator will provide leadership for coordinating and meeting the learning and educational needs of staff at the home.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, evaluate, report and document actions to affect positive outcomes related to residents’ health.
• Ensure nursing staff perform assigned tasks and duties.
• Coordinate, implement and oversee Home-wide programs such as Skin Care, Behaviour Management, Infection Control, Back Care, CQI/Risk Management, Palliative Care, Quality of Life, Health and Safety.
